Welcome to Spring 2021 IFC Fraternity Recruitment Registration
Take your time to complete this registration. It provides valuable information about yourself to each fraternity you are interested in. You must provide all of the information being requested in its entirety before your registration can be considered complete. Once completed, this form cannot be edited.
Eligibility Requirements: Please note that the following criteria mustbe met in order to proceed with the recruitment process.
Earned 14 credit hours at Penn State OR 27 transfer credits (AP and dual enrollment DO NOT APPLY) OR be an Adult Learner.
Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative Penn State GPA.
Be enrolled full-time (12 credits or more) at the University Park campus.
Not have conduct probation with a transcript notation at the time of recruitment or intake.
Not be suspended or expelled at the time of recruitment or intake.
Complete Step 3 by reviewing the OFSL Information Session and Step 4 by agreeing to the Terms and Conditions of Membership on your OFSL Pre-Membership Experience Course in Canvas. In order to complete these steps, you will need to self-enroll in the Canvas course following the instructions below.
Log-in to Canvas using your Penn State Access Account credentials.
Click the 'Enroll in Course' button.
You will get a confirmation message that you have successfully enrolled. Click the 'Go to the Course' button to view the course.
Complete Steps 3 and 4 of the OFSL Pre-Membership Experience Course. In Step 3 you will review the OFSL Information Session and in Step 4 you will complete the Terms and Conditions of Membership through OrgCentral. Terms and Conditions are accessible through the QR code at the end of the OFSL Information Session.
The last day to complete the OFSL Pre-Membership Course is February 10, 2021, at 11:59 pm. Anyone that does not complete the Pre-Membership course by this date will not be eligible for IFC Recruitment.
You will not be eligible to participate in recruitment if you do not meet the requirements.
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life will verify your credits and GPA with the nine-digit PSU ID number you enter on the application. Therefore, it is important it is properly entered.
Your Emergency Contact Information: Your emergency contact should be a parent or guardian. Your emergency contact may receive general emails from the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life about the recruitment process and new member process. Payment: The registration fee for recruitment is $30 and non-refundable. Registration fees fund necessary recruitment software and a t-shirt.
NOTE: If you have previously registered for recruitment, you must use a DIFFERENT email address for payment. The email used can be different than your Penn State email address.
The Interfraternity Council and the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life at The Pennsylvania State University reserves the right to delete any registration that is improperly entered.
